Rediscovering Love

Hello beautiful soul!

I am now fully back in the UK after spending 3 months in Italy where I embarked on a journey through childhood traumas that have held me back for a very long time.

As you may know, I am very self-aware of my emotions and feelings and what requires my attention.

Being self-aware is something I used to struggle to accept, especially when I was younger, I couldn't manage the wave of overwhelming emotions. With time, I learned to accept this aspect of myself, and I am actually grateful to be self-aware because it allows me to gain information about myself and act fast when I want to shift and release challenging emotions or to let go of unhelpful limiting beliefs (I use this same technique in my healing practice).

In my teenage years, I suffered from depression, chronic anxiety, I was in deep despair, and the only thing that helped me numb the pain was alcohol.

One day I chose to stop the spiral of self-doubt, despair, low self-worth, fear and anger, and I started to focus on the possibilities the were in front of me. I did deep trauma healing work that I managed to shift how I was feeling and started to really LIVE my life.

It took me a while of course, because I didn't have anyone to help me or mentor me, but I did it, and that's what counts. 

Over the past few years, there has been a knocking on my mind's door, knocking and triggering me, wanting my attention, telling me that deeper work needed, hence why I went back to the place where everything started.

Healing is a constant in our lives, nobody is so self-aware to the point of being happy 24/7, it is just impossible!

The more we want to heal, the more we will grow, and the more we want to grow and move forward, the more we need to heal, this includes going back to the past from time to time, understanding it and learning from it. 

We can still be a work in progress whilst being successful and happy, we can have everything we want and still have the past crawling up to us trying to get our attention.

Nobody is excluded, everyone, whether a successful business person or a motivated person, we all have a past that will need our attention at some point in our lives.

When I talk about going back to the past, I don't mean staying stuck there, I mean learning from the experiences we went through.

When we look at negative experiences from the past in a different way, E.G. what did I learn about myself? What did that heartbreak teach me? Who have I become due to my dad non-being present when I was a child?, we can become aware that there is always a positive outcome.

Personally, my past taught me that we are not powerless even if it feels like it at times, it taught me that my purpose in life is to guide others on their healing path, it taught me how to protect my energy and to use my sensitivity to gain insight about the beautiful souls who work with me, rather than absorbing and carrying something that is not mine (which is what I used to do when I was younger). It taught me that one of the most important things we can do for ourselves is to fully accept and love who we are and to look after every inch of our being. Anything you want happens, when you feel worthy.

In my younger years, I used to wake up every morning feeling sad, powerless, hopeless, depressed, believing I am not good enough (compared to who anyway?!?!?).

Do I wake up sometimes feeling like this? Yes, I do! But I choose to focus on empowering thoughts and activating beliefs that feel good rather than the ones that don't. 

It is about what we choose to focus on, it is about what thought we choose to activate.

It is about tapping into what we really want, without thinking of what we don't yet have, letting go of what people expect us to be and do, reminding us that the past stays there, and the most important moment is NOW. It is about us, you, me, and everybody else and what we want for ourselves.

Whatever your goal is, tap into it, feel the positive feelings that arise from focusing on it. Stay there, don't let it go. Your moment is now, not yesterday, not tomorrow, it is now.

What sparks joy in your life?

You CAN change your life circumstances and own your worthiness, no matter what they are. There will always be a reason for why something isn't possible (your mind will make you believe it). Instead, start thinking about how you can reach them and be receptive to what the universe is trying to tell you.

Isn't focusing on your needs and wants a beautiful act of love?

My decision of working on another level of healing allowed me to rediscover a deeper love for myself and for who I am. 

Healing yourself means loving yourself. There is no doubt that you are a deserving, worthy, and beautiful being.

BE who you are.  

BE who you want to be.

BE proud of who you are.

DO nurture your needs.

DO let go of others opinions.

DO love and accept yourself.
